To arrange for the transfer of the electricity account of a property that has previously been registered in another person's name, you will need to take with you to Unelco the following:
1. A copy of your passport and NIE
2. Copy of the escritura
3. If the property is more than 20 years old, a new boletin. This is confirmation that the electricity supply has been inspected and if necessary, any relevant works have been carried out.
4. The last invoice or meter reference.
If the property is new you will need to take with you:
1. A copy of your passport and NIE
2. Escritura
3. Certificate of Primera Ocupación
