Michael Rhodes Legal Services is based in Los Cristianos, Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands. It is headed by Michael Rhodes, a former English Solicitor.

The practice deals exclusively with those persons wishing to purchase or sell property in the Canaries, as well as offering a consultancy service on matters of English Law for ex-patriates, through contacts with lawyers in the United Kingdom. Apart from matters ancillary to the property purchase/sale, the Practice does not deal with any matters of Spanish law.

Michael has 20 years experience in dealing with Spanish property transactions and has appeared on BBC local and national Radio as well on satellite television.

In addition, as a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, Michael is able to offer full advice on the use of Wills and Trusts to minimise both lifetime taxes and taxes payable on death. In view of the importance of making valid Wills, Michael will make an initial evaluation of your financial circumstances, free of charge, and a fee will only be payable if any recommendations are proceeded with.
